Volunteering in the ReStore
We're always looking for new volunteers. Volunteers work with ReStore staff collecting and receiving donated materials, pricing and stocking items on the store floor, cleaning and organizing the store, and assisting customers in the store. See below for the variety of volunteer positions we have.
VOLUNTEER AREAS

| Sales Associate | AN AMBASSADOR FOR THE RESTORE; THEY ARE THE FIRST AND OFTEN THE LAST PERSON CUSTOMERS SEE WHEN THEY WALK THROUGH THE DOOR. THEY WORK THE REGISTER AND HELP MAINTAIN THE SALES FLOOR. | One 4-hour shift per week | Tues-Fri 10 am-2 pm & 2-6 pm, Sat 9 am-l pm & 1-5 pm |
| Intake Assistant | HELPS CUSTOMERS THROUGH THE DONATION PROCESS, PROCESSES AND FIXES DONATIONS, HELPS WITH MERCHANDISE CARRYOUT, AND MORE. | One 4-hour shift per week | Tues-Fri 10 am-2 pm & 2-6 pm, Sat 9 am-l pm & 1-5 pm |
| Truck Assistant | RIDES ALONG WITH THE STAFF DRIVER TO HELP LOAD AND UNLOAD DONATIONS | One 4-hour shift per week | Tues-Fri 10 am-2 pm & 2-6 pm, Sat 9 am-l pm & 1-5 pm |
| Office Assistant | WORKS BEHIND THE SCENES TO HELP THE RESTORE KEEP RUNNING. THEY DO DATA ENTRY, HELP WITH MARKETING AND SPECIAL PROJECTS FOR RESTORE. | One 4-hour shift per week | Tues-Fri 10 am-2 pm & 2-6 pm, Sat 9 am-l pm & 1-5 pm |
| Special Projects | A VOLUNTEER WITH SPECIAL SKILLS IN ELECTRICAL OR APPLIANCE TESTING, CONSTRUCTION, SIGN MAKING, ART AND DESIGN, OR MORE, WHO IS TASKED WITH A SPECIFIC PROJECT IN THE STORE. | One 4-hour shift per week | Tues-Fri 10 am-2 pm & 2-6 pm, Sat 9 am-l pm & 1-5 pm |

By volunteering at ReStore, you are helping us work towards the next Habitat house for a family in need in Moore and Richmond Counties. Volunteers meet fun, engaging new people while keeping items out of overflowing landfills.
New volunteers need to attend a Volunteer Orientation at the Moore County office. Orientations are held the 3rd Saturday of the month from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Please contact the Volunteer Coordinator by email to register.
