At Habitat for Humanity, we are proud that our best marketers are the families we have served over our 38-year history. We believe this means we provide quality assistance to our partners, and they are eager to send their friends and family our way. After watching our work for years, community leaders from Addor invited us to build not just one or two homes but an entire neighborhood within the town to revitalize and bring energy to the area. We are eager to partner closely with neighbors, churches, and local businesses to create a neighborhood that 12 families can be proud to call home and a community can say it helped to build.

We have had the chance to meet Addor residents like John Bright, Karen Reese May, and Lorine McCants, a lifelong Addor resident nearing 95 years of age. We learned about the history of Addor, including stories about the local Rosenwald school and the festivities of Addor Day. Now, we are learning how the residents of Addor want to lead the effort to restore pride in the area with new and improved homes. We invite you to become part of the discussion and solution – your input matters, and your help is needed. Join us by contacting Amie Fraley at 910-295-1934 x5 or [email protected].

We would like to invite you to partner with us in developing this property that will become home to 12 families. We will also carry out over 50 critical home repairs annually, some of which will likely be in the Addor community. Your financial or volunteer partnership can make all of this possible. Can you invest in this mission with us? Contact Amie Fraley at 910-295-1934 x5 or [email protected] to learn more.
